the Jackson 5 1970s

threads discussion by JabarR74 should continue here.

For the next few weeks, I'm gonna spotlight a different album by The Jackson 5/Jacksons and I want no bashing or negativity. I wanna focus on the music, not the controversy. Everyday, I'll post a new album. Now, the first album I'm gonna shine the light on is...................JabarR74

I'm not sure that transferring to one thread all of the OP album posts with 10 videos is a good idea. They slow down the thread for some computers.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

They don't care. Moderators here are total idiots.

I like the way nobody has anything to say about

these Jackson albums. You post the album cover

and videos and are just waiting for the comments

and there is nothing. Hilarious. Putting all the albums

on one post doesn't slow down anything because

nobody has anything to say. Its like you thru a subject

out there and said now discuss and got only silence.

You want a discussion then you need to start one.

Posting an album cover doesn't start a discussion.

And don't blame the mods for the lack of responses.

You have to give something out to get something

back.

If you go to the individual threads, you can see some people were responding. But someone complained about there being too many Jackson threads, and a mod closed the other ones and put all of the video posts in this one thread, which is slow to load. But the other comments were not transferred. All of the albums on one post is also confusing, if someone wants to talk about a particular album.

.

Nobodys posting in this thread because it's fucking unconstructive and illogical posting about 8 different topics (albums) in one thread when distinct threads were covering those topics.

.

Killing discussion dead in it's tracks, seems to be the goal here much of the time.

^^Ah, that is only the goal when Michel Jackson is involved, even though it is not about him.

I'm not surprised the individual threads were combined. It says at the top of the forum in highlighted text, "Go easy on the multiple same-topic/artist threads." 12 simultaneous threads about the Jackson 5/Jacksons--even if they were about different albums--would no doubt be seen by mods as flooding the forum. If I were the OP, I would have waited a week in between each thread instead of a day.
