Which artists have gotten the most/least from their talents?

Prince without a doubt has pushed his production to the limit. A+. I was listening to some DeAngelo today and thought, man, what a waste of talent...not the quality of the product, but the sheer lack of it. F.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Have to disagree with your assesment of D'Angelo. His quality of production was pretty good. He just has not put out enough material in the last decade to fully see where his music would have gone. A waste? You could look at it that way. If he does not release anything else ever again.

Im going with Chris Brown. He has so much talent and unfulfilled potential it kills me. I would love a classic Quincy Jones produced album for him. Or maybe a Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis collaboration to see just how far this kid can really go. After "Fine China" he has made a believer out of me. Throw in some funk, soul and a dash of contemporary disco and the sky would be the limit for him.
