Nice

I wouldn't risk loosing R&B too, you gotta listen to something smooth and mellow while babymaking

dance music (which can be anything razz Jazz was originally dance music and you can square dance to bluegrass/country)

easy listening

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Soul and all its sub-genres.

British pop and US black music (especially soul, but please don't make me choose lol ). I'd probably be sick due to not listening to German electronica and French chanson, but the title thread says clearly that I could only have two. sad

Hard one.
I suppose it would have to be funk and reggae (roots/revival/dub)
I would seriously miss soul & hip hop tho.

There's no accounting for taste, but I'd pick late 90s/early 2000s urban contemporary (a.k.a 'R&B') and New Romantic.

.

Sure I'd miss hardrock, hip-hop, proper soul, UK garage, jazz, and Chopin/Liszt, but ehh. I need to listen to my eternal favourites. razz

Damn, that is a tough question because I need five instead of just two. If forced to have only two, it would be synth-driven funk & latin freestyle.

The other three would have been (Chicago AND French) house, synthpop, & italo-disco.
