BOC is one of those bands that didn't have a bunch of radio hits but never the less sold a good amount of records.

I'm trying to think of stuff to type but spending a hour finding these videos and formating this shit rolleyes kinda burned me out.

Anyway BOC is one of my favorite bands....Enjoy

LOL, I'm a diabetic too and I LOVE Blue Oyster Cult. My favorite BOC songs are "E.T.I." and "ME262".

"On Your Feet Or On Your Knees' was a seminal album during my high school years.

I saw BOC back in the 70's and they rocked. Then, I got a chance to see them at a small club here in Houston about three years ago, and they STILL rocked! They absolutely blew the roof off the joint. They were GREAT!

I Regret that i never got a chance 2 see BOC live(in the 80's). Of course i had heard Don't Fear The Reaper on the radio but i didn't start actively seeking out their albums until Fire Of Unknown Origin. I was only 13 when that album came out so as far as seeing them live, i was crap outta luck.

Anyway like i said earlier, BOC is one of my favorite bands. From the first time i heard them i like how they blended blues, Heavy Metal, Pop and 50's Rock N Roll music. That along with their mysterious(maybe a little occult themed) lyrics, song structuring and bad ass guitar playing. All that made for some heavy, catchy and thought provoking songs and albums.

Its interesting that considering how many albums that BOC released, they didn't get a lot of radio play. They did have about 4 major radio hits and they did sell quite a bit of records though.

Personally i think that radio didn't really know what 2 do with BOC. Radio likes traditional and even though BOC did have catchy songs, most of them weren't "traditional".

@luvsexy4all. Yeah i agree.

If a person likes rock n roll oriented music. Objectively at the very least, i would say that the albums Blue Oyster Cult(1972), Secret Treaties(1974), Tyranny and Mutations(1973)and Agents Of Fortune(1976) are must owns. Personally though, those albums plus On Your Feet Or On Your Knees(1975), Spectres(1977) and Fire Of Unknown Origin(1981)are must owns.

Cultosaurus Erectus thumbs up! (1980) and The Curse of the Hidden Mirror(2001)are pretty good as well.

peace

BOC has become one of my top 5 artists just in the last year or two. Criminally underrated, they are.

Flaming Telepaths - Astronomy is the BEST.

Awesome share. Thanks!

No problem.

Shoot here's a couple more...

Screams. From the album Blue Oyster Cult(1972)

Flaming Telepaths. From the album Secret Treaties(1974)

Sweet, with this video i can kill two birds with one stone.

This video has both Morning Final and Tenderloin on it. I wanted 2 post both songs and this video made it easy. Tenderloin starts at around the 4:30 mark.

Morning Final, Tenderloin. Both are from the album Agents of Fortune(1976).
