Music like 'I Saw The Light' by Todd Rundgren???

Hey I was just wondering if people could share some songs in the same vain as the Rundgren classic. I've kept this song on repeat all summer and really want to hear more music like it. I'm fairly familiar with Rundgren's discography so music by other artists would be really appreciated smile I'm absolutely in love with the song's vocals and guitar work. Thanks in advance to those that respond!

It's not on youtube, but if you get the chance, listen to a Lewis Taylor track called "Leader of the Band"...

Most of the non-disco Top 40 stuff from the 70's.

Groups like Poco, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Pablo Cruise, etc.

Steely Dan, "Peg"

The Doobie Brothers, "What A Fool Believes"

Kenny Loggins, "I'm Alright" (from Caddyshack soundtrack)

Starbuck, "Moonlight Feels Right"

Harry Nilsson, "Jump Into The Fire" (a little rougher around the edges than "ISTL"

Fleetwood Mac, "Hold Me"

And if you are looking for similar vibes from the R&B/Soul canon:

Marvin Gaye, "Come Get To This"

Earth, Wind & Fire, "Got To Get You Into My Life"

The Commodores, "I Like What You Do"

Michael Jackson, "Baby Be Mine"

Stevie Wonder, "Tuesday Heartbreak"

Mayer Hawthorne has some tracks that sound similar, such as "Maybe So, Maybe No" from his Strange Arrangement album.
