Aretha Franklin has cancelled yet another show. After appearing on American Idol's sesaon final via satellite, Franklin has cancelled a total of 5 shows now due to unspecified medical treatment.

The Atlanta show is the latest, She is sponsoring her Gospelfest in Detroit and dinner on August 25, 2013 at New Bethel Baptist Church. The address is 8430 C.L. Franklin Blvd. and the dinner starts at 5 pm with the concert starting at 6pm.The event is billed as " The Battle at New Bethel ( Come and Get Your Blessing). Headline singers are The Clark Sisters, Shirley Caesar, J.J. Hairston, Youthful Praise and Tanya Blount. Other acts will be announced soon. The buffet which features some of Miss Franklin's favorite recipes include ReeRee's Hot Water Cornbread, baked chicken and dressing, black-eyed peas with okra, spaghetti and meatballs, gumbo, fried fish, mac and cheese, Aretha's Oxtail Soup, homemade ice cream, peach cobbler, and banana pudding.
