She's cute as always but doesn't this cover just screams 1980 something? Knowing her its intentional. Can't wait for the track w/Prince.

I hope this album makes it. This could be her last shot at the big time. There's a lot of money going into her music, videos, and live preformances.

I think its cool. The graphics of it just reminds me of another cover or two from the 80's and I can't put my finger on it.

That cover is definitely 80s and I'm sure it was intentional. I love it and hope the music is reflective of art work. What's up with all the collabos though? Don't people make records on their own any more??

Thematically, 'Electric Lady' will continue the utopian cyborg concepts of its predecessors, while presenting itself in more plainspoken, personal territory in addition to experimenting with genres beyond conventional Funk and Soul such as Jazz ("Dorothy Dandridge Eyes"), Pop-Punk ("Dance Apocalyptic"), Gospel ("Victory") and woozy, sensual vocal ballads ("Primetime", slated to be a duet with Miguel).

can't waittttttt...my girl always delivers so it will slay...anyway yes somebody is missing and that's stevie wonder !they said they had a new song together at least 2 years ago and after that nothing sad ..anyway this album has only one more ft than the archandroid and it's a double disc so 5 ft are not that much..and I'm glad she was finally able to do a double album she wanted the archandroid on 2 discs too but the atlantic decided it wasn't a great idea for a debut wink

So, this may be a dumb question, but are there going to be seven suites? I'm just looking at those seven dots at the bottom -- five of them are colored in, and two are empty.

Bruno Mars would be my guess.

Well, look.. I don't try to say anything about each other's artistry and I know critics like Janelle and bash Bruno obviously because of the dark/authentic themes Janelle deal with lyrically unlike Bruno whose lyrics about love, passion and fun-feel-good type o songs... But it would be GREAT if those two friends get to work on some kinda collaboration! I say Janelle and Bruno would make this great vocal song, something like "I Just Can't Stop Loving You"... Maybe on their next albums... tho I have been thinking; since they're both are included in Rio 2 cast (they're voice acting), they might do a song for the film which will debut in theater early 2014!... It's possible biggrin

I was sort of surpirsed that they didn't do a duet onstage together when they both toured with each other...
