Best performances Robin Thicke, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Charlie Wilson tribute, Jenele Monae.

Worst of the night, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, Ciara.

Everyone else in the middle, Reggae medley, Miguel R. Kelly (because of no live musis, where was yo band at!.)

KEvin Hart was corny, Tucker was alright, Cedric the Entertainer was the funniest for his 2 minutes

I mentioned this in my review of the R. Kelly concert but... ok i love Kells voice even with all the awful songs he made his voice just takes me to church and seeing him live last night was fantastic.

But he did the same thing there that he did at the BET awards but for an entire hour and a half... that medley shit is annoying! he literally will sing 20 seconds of a song then go to another for 40 seconds and then another... and another... then he will decide to sing a full song then go on 5 minutes sing-talking about his sweat and towels lol

It's as if he feels like he has to prove that he has hits or something. I'm like, okay, okay we all know you got mad hits you could play but can you please put on a show?

I taped the show cause I knew I wouldn't want to sit through all the ads and chatter.

The highlights for me were:

Janelle Monae feat Erykah Badu: Q.U.E.E.N. - I love the song. It's too bad they put her on at about 11:30 pm EST, though, when many people had probably stopped watching and gone to bed.

Charlie Wilson - still sounded great and I thought Justin Timberlake did very well, too

Miguel - love his falsetto and he's sexy as hell!

The gospel intro to R. Kelly - Even though it may have been lip synched, it was stll cool. I don't know why R. Kelly did so many snippets of his hits, though. His voice still sounds great, but he shouldn't be doing 20 seconds of a song - just annoying.

lol I was wondering why R. Kelly was doing a lifetime acheivement performance of all his hits through the years as if he was offended that he hasn't been chosen to be honored yet for his work through the years.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Was anyone else disturbed by the dude playing the iPhone as a guitar? I fear that artists like Chris Brown, Usher, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and artists of that ilk will lead the industry towards buying guitar apps through Apple and have kids bypassing learning the actual instrument.

Sadly, people don't fear that when they're voting down their community's mileages. Resulting in systematically eradicating the funding that is required, for the continued learning of actual instruments in schools.

I, in no way, mean you, personally. This was just something that needed saying, publicly!

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

and this illustrates what has been obvious all along and reflects the true state of the music industry.

when u start doing countdowns about moments of an awards show that has nothing to do about the music, you're done...it's only a matter of time

and the quality of radio broadcasting has declined too.....

it stopped being about the music a long time ago.....it has been supplanted by anything and everything other than

The only act worth watching was Charlie, Snoop and the others.

The rest of the show was a huge disappointment. I hated Janelle's last song. Looked and sounded like pop trash. Was not impressed.

Chris Brown is a loser. Why do they keep giving him awards?
