It's available for free download in its entirety and you can preview the songs individually, which I shall do tonight.

I like some of the songs like Hip-Hop, Kick Knowledge, Whitney Houston Dub Plate & The Buzz.

Obviously there is a TON of filler but this is a hell of an ambitious project.. and i mean it's free lol Clef has made put some faith in him again cause some of these tracks were damn good.

Some of the beats are really good! but the issue is like EVERY fucking Wyclef album there is too many fucking tracks. I love long albums but he does like these 10 second long interludes to a minute that are just not needed on every album...

But this is free so can't complain much! i say checkout cause there are some good songs.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

First problem is that Clef is stuck in the 90's which is why u get a 33 song mixtape, just like albums were bloated in the 90's to fill up cds with alot of filler, this mixtape shows that clef is stuck in that mindset that more is better and shows ambition. As a person WHO HATES previewing tracks, especially on iTunes and Amazon, or really any site, id rather hear the whole song, but seeing 33 tracks is not encouraging me, its making me think, shit i gotta take a day off work to listen to the new wyclef tape.. Like Lauryn, Clef is stuck in a time that is long gone.

Nevermind, I thought this was an official release. Clearly, I don't understand the concept of "Mixtape".

Wyclef has simply released 33 new songs on his own imprint. A free digital album, if you will.

Thanks, for breaking that down for me. Wish this had been on a physical CD. It's nice that he's offering free music though, it's just that digital downloads rarely sound all that good to me (quality wise).

Nevertheless, I've just downloaded "April Showers" and will probably take some time by the weekend to check it out. However, before I even listen to the music, I have two opinions about this project right up front. While I'm not into digital downloads, or MP3's for that matter (I prefer lossless formats, FLAC in particular), I can at least appreciate that these MP3 files were ripped at a constant bit rate of 320 Kbps. Secondly, I really like the cover design and album title.

I have four or five of Wyclef's CD's in my collection, along with a few of the maxi-singles that were released from them, and have thoroughly enjoyed his music through the years (especially his ballads). I look forward to this one, as well.

Bang Bang Bang is pretty deep and probably my favorite on the mixtape.
