So it has been awhile since i listened to this album all the way through...

I think this is a great album and sure i guess a ''game changed'' but i just feel Late Registration & MBDTF are much better.. hell sometimes i even prefer 808's over this.

But this album & the b-sides it young kanye at his most socially conscious so i really dig that... and the songs have great production and flow.

What do you guys and gals think of the album all these years later?

I gots more powers than most but I keep them wrapped up for now. I'm waiting until the day when the world finally recognises that its priorities are muddled and the LOVE41ANOTHER returns in a bun dance with knobs on. I still think that Late Registration was/is his best album. The College Dropout should go down as the album that officially put him on the map, but Late Registration got me into him.

Late Registration took me awhile to really sink into.. but besides MBDTF i think it is right under it as my favorite Yeezy album.

I mean Roses, Crack music, Drive Slow, Bring Me Down. Hey Mama, Diamonds from Siera Leone etc. He was doing some really creative stuff on there

I also used to love graduation... but it's now my least favorite. Really upbeat yeezy is nothing compared to sad, depressed or angry yeezy

I have to be in the mood to listen to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Haven't listened to that one since 2011 probably.

I miss this Kanye...

i was curious to hear thoughts on this album even though i've never heard it, or ANY of Kanye's albums in their entirety, neither he nor Hov (and tons of others) take up space in my catalogue. unfortunately he came along at a time when i was DONE with hip hop (at least secular) but i do recall Jesus Walks infuriating me because it was so good but Kanye so hypocritical LOL

The album is good! Kanye is a dick... but he also is emotional which spews out some good honest tracks

The album deals with social, political & sexual politics so i really dig it.

Plus you got grat guests like Common & Mos Def!

Wow! I'm totally the opposite. While I do like his first 3 records, it's 808s that really go me into Kanye and then came My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which I think is his best and a masterpiece. One of my two favourite records of this century.

But what about MBDTF? I have so much love for that album and the b-sides! what he was doing was some straight up prog rock shit which is why even hipsters can appreciate that album.

And it was filled with so much emotion, angel, hurt & spoiled assholeness that it just made a great personal record

NOW watch the throne & G.O.O.D Summer.... yeah... idk what he was doing there. Looking for hit singles me think's

Don't get me wrong MBDTF wasn't terrible, but compared to the three heavyweights I listed above, it was no match.
