Marvin Gaye -Midnight Love

With all this suit & tie shit going around, I thought maybe I'd checkout the original soul lover man and checkout his Midnight Love album. I've never owned any Marvin Gaye albums. It's typically not my cuppa tea but this would probably be the one albumof hisI wouldget since I heard it's more upbeat, plus it's 80s razz I've never seen this album mentioned on the org. What doyou guys think of it? Yay or nay? Should I give it a shot??

the first four songs that complete side 1 are PERFECT. my favorite track on this lp is till tomorrow because it has so much FIRE and the last track was also a great way to close such a classic, monumental album. here, giving you the honors:

"Til Tomorrow", always reminds me of "Insaiable". Wonder is somebody, was inspired by it.

I didn't appreciate, the album until I got much older. Now, I love it!!

Marvin was at his best on that album, not like his '70s heyday but it showed you what could've been. He was still the leader of his own sound.

I still have my vinyl. cool

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
