I regret not ever seeing her LIVE...I was in High School during the "Waiting to Exhale" years which are the years where Whitney's CLASSIC voice began changing...I should have gone to see her during the "My Love is Your Love" years....

I did support her movies by going to the opening on opening wekend and of course I bought her tapes, records, CD's, Albums.....Regardless of how much you paid for it Whitney's voice was ALWAYS worth it's weight in Gold...

There will never be another Female Vocalist that comes close to sounding as good as her. Even the Queen of Soul said Whitney was one of the Best Singers if not the BEST....That says a lot coming from Aretha....

Everybody talked about how nice she was and the Hugs she gave. I think she had so much more to do. She had the Power to get Projects green-lit just because of her Past successes and who she was...God allowed so many doors to open for her and she thanked him Privately and Publicly for the Blessings.

Whitney was never ashamed or afraid to say she Loved the Lord anywhere, any-time. THAT is what I will always Love about her and what I will always remember....

I really really miss her, and probably feel it more cause it's been a year now. That voice of hers has always been full of emotion, even if she didn't write the songs. Nowadays, that's a rarity.

The Greatest Pop Female Vocalist of all time. There will NEVER be another like her. It doesnt even feel like a year already sad She was such an amazing talent. Besides, her vocals and good music, what I loved most about Whitney was her realness and sincerity.

Here are some of my fav tracks:

Thanks for posting this. What an amazing performance. Can't believe she had any energy left to sing "I Have Nothing" right after that rendition of "And I Am Telling You".

I was never a fan .. and hardly ever will, but her voice was GREAT!
sometimes I do not even know which of the mainstream women's 80-90's can be placed next.
Celine Dion? Mariah Carrey? they sang really well in their time, but it's still not the level of Whitney, not even close.

big loss for all music lovers.
I hope Whitney rest in peace.

All The Man That I Need - a song in her repertoire, which I really like.

You know one reason i always will respect Whitney is the fact that she didn't have to take her clothes off.

Even with all the other bullshit going on in life and people can say this and that about those situations...

But she never had to show her tits, make scandalous videos or anything of that matter.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

I don't remember a time that I wasn't enjoying her music though some jokes made me laugh. I don't think it had anything to do with her if I laughed, but the thought of sweet, good Whitney being bad being a funny image though I really believed she was going to be fine. Her death really made me sad cause I knew she was working hard again and looked healthier

Cissy was on "The View" yesterday and really looked good. Her book is #4 on The New York Times best seller lists. Bobby-Kris has tweeted saying she'll never read the book and made other disrespectful comments in reference to her Grandmother.

I agree with Cissy when she said if anybody is going to write a Book about Whitney and who she really was it should be those that knew & Loved her all of her Life. The ONLY book that means anything to me is a Book by Whitney's Mother..

Bobby-Kris need to stop being a hypocrite and do better by her Grandmother...I don't like that a SPOILED 19yr old thinks she can say whatever she wants. Bobby kris is not a grown Woman and I'm sure Whitney taught her better than to disrespect her Grandmother. Cissy needs to shut her down every chance she gets...

Bobby Kris is proving that she doesnt need a bulk of her inheritance at once, she wouldnt even know what to do with all of that money...What would a 19yr old kid do with millions but blow it on JUNK....
