Wow! already more than 12 hours trade exists ... and only 3 lists. confused
How is it possible that Prince fan can be absolutely indifferent to David Bowie?

They are similar in many respects, very talented, very creative, very special, little strange.

I don't dig Bowie at all for some strange reason. He's like the anticlimax to Prince 4 me. I hate the song heroes, and want to check him out, but don't know where to start. Am I really missing out on something?

Prince I will always miss and love U.

It was unofficial, but he did retire. His last album is now 9 years old. It's a shame that he won't ever tour again or release anything new, but he still created more stuff than most artists do during their careers.

I don't dig Bowie at all for some strange reason. He's like the anticlimax to Prince 4 me. I hate the song heroes, and want to check him out, but don't know where to start. Am I really missing out on something?

You are definitely missing out! lol I recommend starting with the UK version of Best of Bowie or The Singles 1969 To 1993, they have most of the essential songs.

purplethunder3121, you listed "Rebel Rebel" twice, just like me, I only noticed it now, gonna edit! lol

I won't even begin with a list (even picking my favorite albums cause me more pain than I can endure), but OMG, I'm so glad you picked "Strangers when we meet". What a ridiculously perfect song.

Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

I think Heathen contained some of his best work. Sunday in particular, is as powerful and original as anything from his 70s albums.

yes, Heathen (and Outside and Reality) were very good albums, but I wouldn't include any song of those albums in a Bowie top20, not even a top30, maybe a top45...

1. Word On A Wing (THIS is my favourite David Bowie song ever!)

2. Be My Wife (one of his most catchy song, yet underrated)

3. Fashion (funk rock at its best!)

4. "Heroes" (kinda overplayed though...)

5. Fame(thank you John Lennon)

6. Jump They Say (thank you, Nile Rodgers!)

7. Rebel Rebel

8. The Man Who Sold The World (it fucks Nivarnas version in every position!)

9. Ashes To Ashes (One of the best New Wave songs!)

10 Let's Dance (Thank you Nile Rodgers... Again!)

Everybody is somebody, but nobody wants to be themselves.
