Rock stars and accusations on wearing wigs

Paul Stenley,Gene Simmons,Bruce Springsteen, Prince,Mick Jagger, what does these guys have in common beside playing rock 'n 'roll? They all are/were being accused of wearing hair pieces.why? Is it impossible to have a good hair in your 50's,60's

Bruce... doesn't even have that long of hair lol so why would someone accuse him of wearing a wig? lol

as for Gene Simmons.... i am pretty sure i have seen the shi that holds his ''hair'' together, same with Bret Michaels.. i know that shit in his bandana is not real hair biggrin

As for Mick, Pricne & others i don't believe that, and i believe you can have good hair in old age smile

But some rock stars to me it's just obvious they are not showing real hair on the noggin omfg

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

Gene had always good thick hair, why do you think it's wig? I know Gene used to wear wig during the 80's on stage because he cut his hair because of the movies. Bruce was acussed that he wore a hairpiece since 99 reunion tour anfd that his hair on top don't sweat . Paul Stenleys hair looks real to me but he colors it

Google Gene Simmons bald and you'll find a few picks to back it up.

the photo of Gene is a practical joke from his Family Jewel series. He wears a bald cap.if he really looked like this he would never let papparazzi caught him.the second photo is a photoshop of how Paul woul look bald.

I've heard Paul Stanley wears a wig. Also Al Jourgensen from Ministry and definitely Bret Michaels. It so obvious. He's got a great looking face. Why not just cut it or shave it??

As for Prince & Bruce, I seriously doubt it.

Gene has had hairplugs. There are pics online where you can see the plugs and thinning spots.

As for Paul he wore hair extenisons from 1987 thru the late 90's. From then it's been lacefront wigs. Peter and Ace wore hair extensions and wigs from 96 to 2000.

Bruce and P are not in that category (as of yet). And Bret Micheals wig is funny looking.

Rick James used to swear that his hair was real. I think it was on his first album because you could see his scalp through the braids. But during the other eras, I never saw any scalp through the braids. Also, on the back of the "Reflections" album when he wore a short hairstyle and dressed in jeans like the 1950s, if you had all that long hair, there's no way it could fit into a wig that short. And I also noticed years later when he got out of prison, his hair was so short it looked like it was painted on his scalp. He even had the extremely short hair when he made his cameo in the movie "Life". Then just a few months later, he's got long braids again. No as long as they previously had been, but still long. Hair don't grow that fast on nobody.

Andy is a four letter word.

Paul Stanley still has hair but not as much as before, hence why he has to wear a wig when he has the KISS make-up on.

Rick admitted in his book that he (and his band) wore hair extensions in the early years. He said after meeting with a spiritual African teacher he went for the "warroir" look. He wanted to look different from everyone back then. It worked.

KISS' hair was really their's in 1970 makeup days. You can tell by the grain and texture. Peter's hair was "salt and pepper" back then and now it's "jet black".

It's certainly not impossible. I know some men in their 50s and 60s with full heads of thick hair, but what are the odds that ALL of the Rolling Stones would skip male pattern baldness?

While I'm sure that is Keith and Charlie's real hair, with Mick it's POSSIBLY all his (though certainly dyed)...but I'm sure Ronnie Wood is wearing a wig these days
