R. Kelly Hit With More Tax Problems
September 10, 2012
Link
Let's hope R. Kelly has a few million dollars lying around the house that he can spare.
TMZ.com, citing documents filed in the singer's native Illinois, reports that he owes the IRS $1.38M in unpaid taxes for last year. That's on top of the $4.8M he already owed for the years 2005 to 2010.
Kelly's rep tells commented: "He takes this very seriously and is already communicating with the IRS about the payment process to quickly resolve the issue."

If things continue as is, all he's going to have left is a pair of "black panties".

Wow! If people living paycheck to paycheck manage to pay their taxes, I can't understand why these big-shot celebs can't pay their taxes. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

In your dreams.
The fact that he owed 1.38 million in 2011 alone should let you he has a nice income. The higher your income, the higher your taxes.
Kellz just needs to hire a new accountant because someone is obviously stealing money from him. |

If he fell victim to money mismanagement and theft, you would think he'd known that in the first six years of delinquency. Didn't he also lose a mansion and grounds through foreclosure last Dec?

No, he chose to strategically default the mansion. He hasn't lived there since 2009.
What makes you think R. Kelly knows that? He's illiterate. Not to mention that he has a staff of people who handle all of his business. All he worries about is singing and recording music. Don't give these celebs too much. They're really not that bright - at all. |

I don't care how much of a big-shot you are and how many accountants and managers you have, you should always know what's going on with your bread, especially where the IRS is concerned. Now he ain't going to say that he hasn't heard story after story about artists being ripped-off by their managers and financial teams and having the IRS making their lives a living hell. I'm sure he's talked to veteran artists who have told him their stories. C'mon now. Maybe he should be less concerned about bedding down every young girl he sees and start paying attention to what's going on with his finances. "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! You should be concerned with your own finances instead of a multimillionaire's. |
