No worries, to each their own. If we're staying with Faith , I love Kissing A Fool.

I love this whole album. Definetly my favorite. I love Kissing A Fool. Such a raw sounding song, very strong vocals. Altough I do feel it wasn't a good choice for a single though. I think H2M would have been a better choice

My favorite on the album smile

I wish it was released it was a single!, i think it could have been a hit honestly....

George was so big when this album came out, that i think ANY song released off Faith could have been a hit.

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

Very true. I think he should have done:

I Want Your Sex

Faith

Hand To Mouth

One More Try

Father Figure

Monkey

My 2nd favorite song by George and from Faith BTW

I always liked this song too.

My favorite though? Would probably be "Father Figure".

With honorable mentions to "One More Try" and "A Last Request", which is so lush. nod lol .

I don't think the fact that he was a star is necessarily what made the cd sell so well either - honestly, it's just that good of a disc. I believe if it were shit, it wouldn't have taken off as much as it did, no matter how popular he was at the time. There's just so many good songs on there, one after another.

A Last Request

This was not on the LP, and neither was the Hard Day remix. They were only on the cassette & CD. A Last Request is not really a separate song. The maxi single version of I Want Your Sex was around 13 minutes and Request was the last part. The Hard Day remix is longer on the maxi single and is faded out early on the CD of the album. Technically, Hand To Mouth was on a single. It's the B-side to Faith.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton
