I could've told him that the album wasn't going to do well. The writing was on the wall when none of the singles took. And the promotion was haphazrd, but it still wouldn't have saved THIS album.

His saving grace (exciting live performances) has even fallen off. There was a time when he could be counted on to save an awards show but he doesn't have enough faith in his abilities, so he's been relying on tricks (what can I do THIS time to really blow them away?).

How about make a record that isn't hyper-active dance so you can actually sing it. Oh and practice your live singing dude.

With the right material I think he has the charisma ( what he hasn't already chipped away to nothing) to pull off a good performance.
