Motley Crue "Dr Feelgood" album appreciation thread

I discovered music from this earlier on in the year and loved it! I also found out some of it was recorded just outside of Toronto! I love the track Dr. FeelGood, and for some reason, the rhythm of it reminded me of that rhythm in the middle of the Jacksons Heartbreak Hotel and at the end smile

This was such a massive sounding record when it came out. I know Metallica got Bob Rock for their Black Album because of Tommy Lee's drum sound on Dr Feelgood. God, I haven't listened to it in 20 years probably - I'm so f**kin' old grandpa

And Lars really liked the sound on The Cults Sonic Temple.

Time For Change is one of there best non hits cool and the hits on this album where fantatsic

Great album from my favourite band i would have liked to have seen Cruefest 2 and seen the Crue play Dr Feelgood in full but they didnt tour it down under.

I agree he plays simple but it sounds so fucking good. I also love his playing on Rock N Roll Junkie on the Decade Of Decadence album
