Bobbi Kristina Quits Tyler Perry Show; Not Over Death Of Mother Whitney Houston 30May
2012 Bobbi Kristina has walked off the set of "For Better or Worse", the Tyler Perry TV show that airs on TBS. Bobbi walked off the set last week, claiming she is not over the death of her mother Whitney Houston. She only filmed a couple of episodes before quitting the show. Bobbi is still filming her own reality TV show for Lifetime TV, where her reps say the filming is less stressful for her. Perry's people are not commenting on her walk off but are having to re-write future episodes to explain the characters disappearance. The only thing they will say is that they are frustrated but support Bobbi Kristina fully. It is being reported that Perry spoke with Bobbi Kristina privately about the situation. Perry let the Houston family use his private jet to travel Whitney's body from L.A. to where she was laid to rest. Kristina was being paid $30,000 per episode. Although it is being reported that Whitney died broke, her estate has made quite a pretty penny for Bobbi Kristina, the sole heir to Whitney's millions.-DocFB
I thought it was too soon for her to take on a responsibility of a Tv series. Learning lines every week with camera blocking & set changes & getting into character can be very stressful.. will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Maybe some time off was needed......a grieving period, time away from the spotlight, away from cameras. With that said, it was nice of Tyler Perry to offer her the role in the first place. Bobbi Cris is lucky to have connections through her family.

I guess you didn't read this part...."Bobbi is still filming her own reality TV show for Lifetime TV, where her reps say the filming is less stressful for her."
Just kidding... | |

I read it. I wasn't clear, but my opinion is some time off after her mother's death would be good for her, period. No sitcom, no reality show, etc. Just some time to herself. I've also been reading about the filming of the reality show around the 'net. However, I'm not interested in watching that.

I agree with this post, I wouldnt watch it either. She really needs time to rest. Hasnt she been in the hospital a couple of times over the last 4 months??? She needs time to herself and to be with her family. Its still really early since losing her mom I just wish her all the best...

I hear ya. Just messin with you. And I happen to agree with you but I think Bobbi has been wanting the spotlight for a minute, (by her own admission, I might add). "It's in my blood." She probably would have attempted to be in the entertainment industry of some sort by now if it wasn't for her mom not allowing her to do it. Bobby Brown was the one encouraging her to jump in. It's going to be hard for her to take that time to grieve and heal when she has plenty of media vultures out there eager to exploit not only her mother's name and fame but her own ambitions as well. Let's hope cooler heads prevail and she chill.
Oh...and I'm not looking forward to the whole "Houston Chronicles" thing either. Thought it was a bad idea the first time I heard of it.

Oh, it's cool! She got a taste of reality tv on Being Bobby Brown. Fame is a double edge sword. To be honest, I got enough of the other family on the Oprah interview.

She hasnt taken any time off since her moms death, why start now? The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Tyler Perry: ‘Leave thi... alone!’Tyler Perry is very upset with reports that Whitney Houston’s troubled daughter, Bobbi Kristina, walked off the set of his show last week. In a letter to fans on his mailing list, Tyler Perry set the record straight on what actually happened:
Thanks to loyal reader Monique L. for the tip! I never seen so many false rumors started so much like they do with the Houston family.

I don't know, my opinion may not be well liked, but I don't care I will say it anyhow....reading this news made me . I think it's bullshit. First off, I believe that Bobbi Kris isn't in control of her life. I say this because, any normal person who lost their mother the way she lost hers wouldn't be interested in doing anything in the public eye, point blank. I do think it was generous for Perry to offer her this role in his show, but for her to just say "umm I don't want to do this anymore because I need time to grieve"...yet CONTINUE with the filming of this so-called bullshit reality show with her family (is it because Pat told Krissy she was required to do this show, or else? ) is just blasphemy to me. As someone said above, the girl needs a break FROM ALL OF THE SHOWS, ETC. so that she can have time to grieve. Therefore, I'm thinking the real reason she walked off of his show is because her expectations of the demands of filming a show were unrealistic from the start, she's more than likely not a professional actor but just was taking advantage of this "chance" she was offered. Now because she's quit, she's thrown the staff into a tizzy, scrambling trying to make up for her character disappearing from the show. No common courtesy whatsoever. But filming a reality show somehow is much easier? Yeah right. That family has become a big joke to me. [Edited 5/30/12 15:51pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
