JOHNNY TAYLOR DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!
Carl Franklin Cheryl Lynn
Wait, did they do Cheryl already?
Oh and Oaktown's 357 would be good. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

Who the hell is 357 and where is Oaktown? I want ones on Vanity 6, Chucki Booker, Switch and Lisa Stansfield "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Oaktown 357 was a group of girls that were apart of Hammer's entourage along w/ B Angie B. Like Hammer, they were from Oakland, Ca...hence the Oaktown. Dunno what the 357 was for. They had a few hits such as "Yeah Yeah Yeah" and "Juicy Got You Crazy".
They were a bit thugstress for their time, tho harmless going by what came later. They were more cute than flat out sexual.
Being Hammer folks, they danced well...but their raps skills were Meh. I'd say they were better than JJ Fad, but way below Lyte or Yo-Yo.
I would say that if they did them, they should do B Angie B as some sort of combo story.
Switch....probably not enough footage on them to do a full show.

Are they going to start doing Unsung on 90's artists? I feel like they did all the 70's and 80's by now

There's still '60s artists they gotta cover. Right LBC?

Arrest Development is unsung??? LOL!
I think Johnny 'Guitar' Watson is unsung, he don't get enough recognition.

There are still tons of 70s acts to cover. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Not only was his career interesting (he was on three of Zappa's album and Watson was one of Zappa's biggest musical influences) but so was his life...

Hendrix was influence by him too

Johnny "Guitar" Watson is an excellent choice along w/ Johnnie Taylor. There are plenty of 70s era acts that haven't been looked at.

Yes, and he also started his career earlier than I had originally though. PRINCE: Always and Forever

I was suprised when I found out that Johnny was a also a pimp. His life story needs to be told.

Why were you suprised, homie dressed just like Willie Dynamite. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Like LBC said, that's not really much of a surprise from the way he was styled.

The pimp thing ain't all that unusual if you dig hard enough. Lots of musicians had "sidelines"...I wonder if they'd touch that tho!

Yeah he was something of a child prodigy.
