Maroon 5 has a release in stores for fans. To mark the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough album Songs About Jane, the band is reissuing a special edition of the disc.

The 10th Anniversary Edition of Songs About Jane will be available at Maroon5.com, and it includes two discs: one of the original album, and one featuring original demos, unreleased material and videos.

The package also includes a limited-edition lithograph that features original art inspired by each song, including the hits "This Love," "Sunday Morning," "Harder to Breathe" and "She Will Be Loved."

I didn't realize the album had been out for that long. Must've taken awhile for it to catch on.

It was first released in '02 and reissued one year later when it reached # 6 on the album charts.

10th Anniversary?? only 10 years??? the industry sure is desperate...

and yeah, this album was ignored in 2002 due to bad promotion, but if I'm correct She Will Be Loved and This Love were finally big hits in 2004/05

the rest of the album was forgettable shrug, with the exception of Harder to Breathe...

I remember it taking off in 03/04. I might grab this if it's not too expensive.

Does this really need a reissue?

To this day Harder To Breathe is the only song I've really enjoyed from them. Never been a huge fan. Irked when they won Best New Artist over Kanye at the Grammys.

"This Love" is one of the best songs of the last decade. That one never gets old to me. Loved it from the first time I heard it.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Since it's been only 10 years, this seems too soon. Labels used to wait a minimum of 20 years before releasing special editions of albums.

Damn I forgot it came out in '02. I remember because I was an undergrad in college and each morning before class I had the channel set to VH1, I remember seeing the video for "This Love" but it wasn't in heavy rotation. It wasn't until another one of their singles came out that they ended up blowing up.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Damn... can't believe it's been 10 years. To me Maroon 5 is more of a singles band, never got into a full album by them.

I love Maroon 5 but this reissue is rushing it a bit. I could see a 20th anniversary release but 10 years is too soon.
