You know, I was just thinking about what were the funkiest songs of all-time.

Flash Light is definitely on the list.

I should make a post about the funkiest songs of all-time.

Well it's up there, but Knee Deep wins the vote for me.

Yeah I think Knee Dup funks hard even if it is repetitive hitting that 10 minute mark it still fucking bangs hard in a car and does not stop.

You can't say Flash Light was the best, when there was George Clinton's Automic Dog, Cameo's Word Up, Prince's Head(underground non single filth) and When Doves Cry, Zapp's More Bounce To The Ounce, Funkadelic's (Not Just) Knee Deep and Sly Stones Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)

This may not be a "funk song" per say, but damn if this isn't one of the funkiest songs ever!

Of course, you can't mention funk without James Brown.

And George had much better songs than Atomic Dog. I like Atomic Dog but that

repetitive hook on it gets old quick and not to mention it's been oversampled by

contemporary artists. It's to the point now when i see Cameo in concert i'm ready

to leave by the time they get to their last two numbers Candy and Word Up. I can deal

with Candy but Word Up i've seen and heard it enough already. bored
