I go over there every now and then... something about the energy in there is different than it used to be. Even different after 6/25/09 but it was already turning a corner even before then. I sometimes comment on there.

Im done with that site... I grew up with that site and sad to see what it turned into... I think around 07-08 it turned for the worse.

After that Moderation thread I was completely done with it for good, it showed their are still cliques and favoritism and not enough people who want to make changes for the overall community and the future of that site.. They have a good Admin now because they got rid of the othe one but some of the mods there I think shouldnt be mods because their not really enhancing certain forums. I was pleased that Jay became a mod. They need more mods for the Main MJ sections though .... its just boring to me... no one goes there the old users and the real MJ fans dont come and the ones that do arent really fans and its a few.

I feel they need to make ALOT more improvements but it will NEVER be like how it was...its pretty much over...

I go lurk for MJ news at times but its very rare...

Agree with you and Timmy on the KOP. It was once a cool place to hang out but it jumped the years ago. In fact I left that place for good in the beginning of June 2009, weeks before June 25th. Isnt Jay the mod for the Downloads section of that site?

I say we all start a new mj board! the KAP Board! King and Prince board!

The only MJ forum I was aport of was J5-Collector and MJJ.Vault. Those were the best forumes ever for MJ fans. Just to talk about the music.

I was trying to persuade him to run to be a mod for the music section because SD is not a good mod at all and Jay would add more diverse and interesting topics like he does anyway... and I got bashed when I called her out in the moderator thread for it.... the only ones that really said something was me and Selfie.

And after that I was pretty much was done with it, because it seemed they didnt care about making "changes" to make certain forums better.

And then they were asking for donations to up keep the site.... I wish I would donate some money to that jacked up site...

It used to be a helluva time when me, Jay, Cynda(SNCDLS), MuthaFunka, JackieBlue, Rayyan(aka PricelessHo) and Cinnie used to shoot the breeze over here.

The hypocrisy and the groupthink mentality thats running rampant in this site made some of this group leave permenantly and the rest on lurk mode.

I'm still sore about Cinnie's departure, he - who didn't bother ANYBODY - somehow attracted the assholery from this site.

Paraphrasing from Harle, but I'm more bothered with what happened with MuthaFunka and SCNDLS. Those were among my favorites along with bboy, NMuzak (who is still here under the dollarsandcheeses name), missfee and TD.

Cynda and her male counterpart MuthaFunka don't mind whipping folks into shape when they talk out of their necks, including the mods. So you know a HEAP of sensitive bunch - including the mods again - wouldn't want to see them here at all.
