I haven't watched the videos, because I know where they're headed.

Granted, I'll say this, I'm not a fan of Koopa(Jigga), but he gotta have some mind control over folks, given that they hang on to everything that comes out of him from his words down to his body language.

For people to give that much of a fuck about such an overrated hack is beyond me.

Jay was always overrated and the mind control bit is just the media oversaturation... thats the MEDIA not Jay Z.

Oh he ain't slick, he too knows how to keep folks talking by catering to their speculation, not just the media. Like his black & white video(forgot the name - from last year), it was calculated to keep folks chewing their gums, because he knows what folks say about him.

I wouldn't be surprised if he secretly took an honorary degree in marketing, becuase he went in.

Reasonable Doubt is by far Jay Z's best material and that is not saying much...

because their people like Nas and Krs One that will eat him up on the mic to dry and doing shit that he tries to take the credit for doing. Jay has always been about commercial. Ive always thought Kanye was more talented than Jay but his a sell out .... so... Kanye is to FAR gone.

Christian rap with the N-word in it? Really? I have no issue with people bringing attention to Jay-Z's lyrics and calling him out, though. This is a better "diss" by the way:

On a positive note, there have been ALOT of people who have called Jay Z out ( DMX, Krs, Nas, Fifty, The Game, Paul Mooney etc) so people are not all buying into his bullshit.

I agree but he also plays with the public and media by doing controversial things to get people talking about it. He may not can control peoples minds literally but he definitly plays into that controversial image around him to keep people talking about him...

but i mean we can say that about Chris Brown, Snooki, and every single Kardashian which, they have had this country under their "ass" for a decade now just about, the media is so simple to play with because everyone believes what they read because on the internet, its like when the National Enquirer in the 80's would say things like "Woman gives birth to 3 headed child" and then have some doctored photograph as proof, its no different, just now its more widespread, BUT i think we have to look inside and say WHY are we buying into what anyone else says, Jay Z did fall from the sky as a prophet, he used to sell fucking drugs in Brooklyn.

Christian rapper using "nigga" in his song renders him irrelevant. Hov is the King of Rap.

This is worst than the MC Hammer trying to diss Jay-Z. bored2

Chris Brown, Snooki Kardashian are not regarded as credible or taken seriously like the media and JayZs camp paints him to be there is a difference.

Its a touchy area when you incorporate God, Jesus, the Bible and religion into your agenda which Jay Z does in everything he does to get attention.

He fails at manipulating me and a few others anyway. It's silly to think Mr. Carter would actually know what to do if there was such a thing as him having "mind control".

Controlling media is the issue though, If Kim Kardashian can get a million hits just for saying her ass popped out on a pic, or the whole JLO nip-slip at the Academy Awards, got over 2 million hits in a day! People are easy to control when they allow themselves to be controlled, not to quote Hitler, but he did say "The Bigger the Lie, the more people will believe it"

ANd for the Record ALL RELIGIONS ARE MIND CONTROL.

But Jay Z uses alot of demonic and biblical references together in his songs and music videos. Thats disrespectful and thats why he gets alot of back lash. He insists that he is a christian but some lyrics in his music and images in his music videos suggest different things. I agree that people allow themselves to be controlled.

Im not an expert on music mainly because after the first record or so, to me, he wasnt interesting anymore as a rapper, he became a character, not someone i felt was talking honestly, its kind of like LL ccol J said on his album, "we grew up on the block and know about poverty...do you" not sure he was talking about, probably most of the rap game.

Jay Z is not a serious rapper but since he is mainstream some of his music is questionable which is why people make a big deal about him. I personally agree if we have children listening to the music the lyrics should be more positive but this is an entire industry thing not just Jay Z.

You made great points though!

Really, if I turn on the 2 top Hip Hop radio stations in the Dallas area, his but is on 3-5 times per hour on his songs or somebody elses song. I would say that is very big influence!

Thats because his mainstream and Jockeys stick to a certain rotation. Youll hear Rihanna and Beyonce on constant rotation as well.. that has nothing to do with mind control thats just record labels paying radio stations to play their music or stick to a specific rotation.

Just because his playing on the radio doesnt mean he has alot to say... his music is garbage..catchy beats but thats about it.

Edit... it is a kind of mind control but AMERICAS mind control...
