She has to do something since My Life II cannot seem to get any momentum. Jimmy Iovine is putting her ass to work. lol

That's still not good for her. Especially considering how long the project has been out. Usually, she is getting crazy spins with her singles, but this time around, it's not the same.

I don't think there is a good single on the album. Not saying the album is horrible, but it's not that great.

I don't think her label knows what to do with the songs on the album. I think they pushed the wrong songs. Like they failed to release "Mr. Wrong" first. "25/8" sounded like something that could be released this spring but they put it out last fall. "Next Level" has some hit potential as do "No Condition". I don't know, 500,000-plus (I think it's around 530K now) is still good for an album WITHOUT a "hit" though I can about call "Mr. Wrong" that on the R&B charts (it's No. 11 there). If the label had played their cards right (like they failed to do with "Stronger" also), Mary would be alright. Hell she is alright just not compared to HER last albums.

Mary's been Blessing the Public with R&B Hits for a couple of decades now...She should be coaching the contestants...No other Artist has been "consistent" as Mary...

Exactly. She's been having top 40 R&B hits for the last 20 years. She only became "crossover" for a good five, six years lol

Millie Jackson used to say on her radio show that she never understood Mary's appeal. She used to always say that she had to learn to sing because her first few albums were all sang out of tune. lol

I want to see how Mary does with these contestants considering that all of them are pretty bad overall.

Ike Turner didn't respect her either lol I read an interview he gave around 2004. Apparently he saw Mary on TV and was happy to see that she was starting to get over her addiction, then he heard her singing and thought she was horrible. lol

Millie Jackson with her TRASHY mouth...Millie don't even know she was born a Woman....And Ike Turner still got brusies on his fists from the beatings he put on Tina...I wouldnt listen to anything those two Dogs got to say about ANYBODY...

I admit Mary J.'s LIVE performances from the 90's were a Hot Mes at times but her RECORDINGS were all SUPERB....You can put on ANY Mary J. record today and it still is the JAM.....Millie Jackson don't know shit and as OLD as she is she STILL ain't on the same Level as Aretha, Dionne, Patti, Gladys and Chaka..

Mary J. Blige is pissing me the fuck off lately.

Insisting she never did crack, but admitting to cocaine use on The View. Seriously, white powder is white powder. It all fucks you up! And her awful reindition of The National Anthem.

Now this pretentious bitch has the nerve to mentor contestants?? Hoe sit down!
