It's okay. Sounds like something Leona Lewis would sing. I think it would be better suited for someone who has a better and more powerful voice.

I haven't liked anything Ashanti's done since "Concreate Rose" to be honest and this song is no exception.

something about this sounds like very cheap production.

Oh, wow...

Interesting. It seems apparent that she's had some vocal coaching in the recent past because my ears are not hearing Miss Ashanti. Maybe she's growing up and her voice is maturing since "Concrete Rose" with her Broadway stints too? Either way, she's a work in progress and the progress is impressive. It's definitely different and a step up from her work with Murder Inc.; She seems more credible now as a vocal talent, and in today's R&B world, credible vocals are extremely lax. eek

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

It also seems apparent that nobody gives a shit about her anymore. LOL! It's all good. She had her time ten years ago. biggrin

Well she doesnt care and doesnt seem to mine being that she keeps herself out the spotlight.

It's good she keeps trying but her time has come and gone. She should do a reality show to get people back into her again

nod that's what I was thinking too lol She's never been a great singer and won't be, but she sounds better in this song than any of her previous singles. It sounds like she's figured out which notes she can sing ok and which ones to stay away from.

So many of these contemporary artists don't use real instruments any more. Most of the music is computer-generated. Every once in a blue moon, when I attempt to watch some of the music videos being played on 106 & Park, that's all I hear is computer music.
