I'm game...

I'll take Backstreet Boys. I think there are better individual singers in

N'Sync (JC and Timberlake) but collectively...gimme BSB.

By the way, I don't know if y'all have peeped it yet, but "Shape of My Heart"

is one of the better pop songs of our time.

*NSYNC was sooo shitty vocally. So I'll take BSB - AJ and Nick had nice vocal tones.

I don't think BSB harmonize as well as NSYNC. And they've never done any vocal arrangements as complex as NSYNC has.

Nsync but BSB had the better ballads and AJ could hit the notes.

I love both but I was an Nsync girl.

BSB for me. N*SYNC were, plainly and simply, a reaper of the massive success that the BSB obtained first. As were 98 Degrees. As were LFO. As were 5ive. As were BBMak. BSB has better ballads, and AJ McLean--coked-out, drunk, or not-- has more soul in his voice than Justin Timberlake could ever dream of. Plus, there is not a boy bander alive hotter than Kevin Scott Richardson lol

Never put Nsync with 98 and them you know damn well they were better than all the bootlegs that ride off both Backstreet and Nsync success. Lol BSB is not the same without Kevin (he wasn’t my fave though) need all five in that group and I think JC might have more soul than AJ to keep it real but BSB ballads slayed Nsync’s .At the end of the day New Kids killed them both overall .

I don't know...JC can sang for real, and has an earnest quality in his voice that the other N*Syncers don't have, but when it comes to down and dirty, chicken-greasy, boozy soul, I think AJ pulls out ahead. Listen to his part in "All I Have To Give", for instance.

I think on certain songs JC is better than AJ even that single with the group Blaque I thought he was black lmao. AJ has the best voice in most of Backstreet songs. All I have to give is not his best vocally.

Lol...totally me too. When I first heard the song I wanted to find out who the "hot black guy" singing was. And you are right...Seaman how dare you lump Nsync and BSB with those other followers razz razz lol

If I had to choose..... BSB.

I absolutely love AJ's voice.

NSYNC and BSB were on their own level. Nobody was here for them other groups. With that said, NSYNC really couldn't be more different than BSB. Backstreet mostly sang ballads. NSYNC were more known for their uptempo tracks. They had a live stage show that was very theatrical with intricate dance routines, where as Backstreet mostly did basic Temptations like two step.

AJ being better than Justin pretty much goes without saying though. Alex has an authentic soulful voice; not anything like that whiny falsetto Justin does. Timberlake thinks b/c he's from Memphis means he has 'soul'. He needs to stop it.

I recall AJ's vocal teacher was an old black man.

Backstreet Boys! Brian is a great vocalist, to me he's the best singer of them all. I love JT's solowork though.

When it all comes down to it I think its JC, Brian and AJ as the top 3 of both groups.
