Hasn't he also surpassed President Obama for most Twitter followers?

Tbh I dont mind him he does have talent even if it isnt necessarily being shown off in the best way, I like the fact that he still praises Michael so much and seems like a true fan. He posted this on Twitter after he found out that 'NeverSayNever' had become bigger at the box office in the USA than 'This Is It'

justinbieber but MJ is still and always will be the KING OF POP! and worldwide we got a long way to go. #MJtheGreatestEVER #SHOWRESPECTTOTHEKINGOFPOP

I actually like the kid. I mean he's a decent artist as teen pop stars go and perhaps by the time he's in his twenties he will have more substance in his music. Who knows. shrug MJ was a kid once upon a time.

Both movies' success just prove that popular doesn't= Better.

There have been many, many other concert films that were much better than both Never Say Never and This Is It that haven't made a 10th of what they've made.

I thought This Is It was a corny cash-in after Michael's death, and Never Say Never is just Marshmellow Fluff.

JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

Oh no you DIDN'T just compare the J5's/The Jacksons' material to Bieber's music! bitchfight lol razz Michael's music always had substance to it. There were some childish ones, but over all, it was music that touched everyone, not just a select audience.

And besides...I don't give a crap about this so called "surpass". By a hundred thousand and they call this breaking news. Bitch please...Michael outsold Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon by 65 MILLION copies sold world wide with Thriller. That's a landslide...that's breaking music news.

Besides...This Is It was released for only a limited engagement, so it could only rake in so much. But nearly 200 million dollars raked in from overseas sales....while Bieber only sold around 11 million. That still says something...

I'm all about giving people a chance, but I really can't believe that you compared Bieber's music to that of Motown. That's a damn shame.

And remember Stevie Wonder started off at 12 years old being told what to do for almost a decade. Listen to his 1970 live album and it sounds like a Vegas lounge act. Michael Jackson in the early-mid 70s were in the same boat. Plus they started doing that variety show. The switch to CBS prob. saved their careers (unlike the Osmonds, who wound up doing the dinner theater circuit), then of course Michael took off as a solo artist.

People also went to go see "This Is It" because there was no way for them to go to LA or Los Olivos after he died, was the closest thing they were going to get to a concert, (hard not to miss), and it was as close as they could get to paying tribute to him. You have to take into account why people went to go see that movie. That film was also made with the intent to recoup money from the cancelled shows. I think some people wound up getting commemorative tickets.

Bieber's film isn't just a concert film,it's also about how he became successful, and isn't just meant for 10 year old girls to watch.

There will be no "new" King of Pop.

Of course, Bieber is excited to pass one of his idols - though he acknowledges that Jackson is still number one.

"Proud of NEVER SAY NEVER 3D and grateful 2 the fans 4 making it the #1 grossing concert doc of ALL TIME!! MJ is still the greatest! HONORED. But regardless thank you thank you thank you to all those that did and are continuing to support NSN3D around the world. Much love," Bieber tweeted.

"MJ is still and always will be the KING OF POP! and worldwide we got a long way to go. MJ the Greatest EVER," he continued, referring to international sales for "This Is It." Jackson's concert film has grossed $189 million overseas, while "Never Say Never" is far behind at just $10.8 million internationally.
