I bought a pricey Japanese import of this a few years ago,but it doesn't contain the bonus tracks mad

In any case, this is a superb album.I like the fact that it's a non-stop party album that doesn't slow down until the very end ("The Show Is Over").

Other than Deniece's "Songbird" I don't think they have announced any additional reissues. They keep their facebook page updated. That's where they usually promote upcoming reissues.

Those bonus tracks are essential and I'll tell you why. When "Shame" and "I Don't Know If It's Right" were released as singles, the record company altered the songs slightly, making them sound much better. The album version of "I Don't Know If It's Right" sounds flat....the single version is a big improvement. The 12" disco mix of "Shame" puts the album version to shame (no pun intended, lol).

Interestingly, many people assume that "Shame" was the first single. It wasn't.For some unknown reason, the record label chose "Dancin,Dancin,Dancin" as the first single, even though it's annoyingly repetitive and is actually the worst song on the album.I always wondered why they didn't release "The Show Is Over" as a single. It's a highlight.

BBR is also reissuing June Pointer's first solo album "Baby Sister", which will make it's CD debut.

I didn't find out about the album until after June passed away. I knew about the record she recorded in the late 80's (remember "Tight On Time"?) but didn't know about "Baby Sister".
