Image wise the stills are great, but the video is very bland and the song is even worse . Beyonce doesn't fit the Gaga asthetic, so it comes off as looking cheesy.

Beyonces creativity is nowhere near GaGas level. Bey is only on the track because GaGa was on Beys track. If everything would've went right in the first place, Britney would have been in Beys place, which would have made more sense to me

Telephone was written by GaGa for Britney and her Circus album. Britney recorded it and everything, but she wanted to include it on her latest Greatest Hits album, and I guess the label rejected the idea, so GaGa kept the song and gave Bey a guest spot. One of the reasons it wasn't included on Circus is because Brit already had a song on there about telephones (i.e Phonography). GaGa wrote another song that ended up on her album, which was Quicksand.

Once again its just overkilling overkill. This video already got bumped back according to Beyonce's site, though they claim for editing and things like that, but its more the fact that she is the Video with Alicia and that is a single and that debut is set for March 8th, this video now seems a waste because of her inclusion, its like, how many videos is Beyonce gonna be in? I mean its rumoured that she is gonna do some remix with Kings of Leon now, i mean come on now

This video didn't get pushed back. Beyonce's "Video Phone" video with GaGa was pushed back. Telephone just wrapped about 2 and a half weeks ago

Her site had it for Thursday premiere so thats what they said, doesnt really matter because both videos will kill each other off, because its just too much of something at this point, time to move on from this stuff already. As Beyonce's "Video Phone" we all know that push back and it was for a similar reason.

In all honestly, I think Telephone is the weakest track on The Monster album. As I stated, it was better off being a Britney song and/or GaGa/Brit collabo as originally planned. It's only a single/video because GaGa is returning the favor from Video Phone. I do believe that Telephone will crap over Video Phone. GaGa said that the Telephone video will be 10 times better than Bad Romance, and we all know how visually amazing that video was.

Beyonce plays it really safe when it comes to songs and videos. She doesn't step outside the box, which makes it easy to determine what type of music she'll be making. If you think about it, some of her songs are simply prequels to the next track
