I'm all for it, even though William Duvall gets a lot of (unfair) hate from AIC fans. Some of the remarks at Youtube are downright ugly. I loved Layne(one of the best voices in rock), but he's gone, and the fans have to move on. No one will ever come close to Layne, but Duvall does a good job.

There's a chick in Kelowna who did radio for a while -for all I know she still is -whose given name is Allison Chaynes. I'll give anyone 5 bucks if they can guess who her 'rents' favourite band is.

Love the videos posted. The Unplugged versions are worth mentioning. Their unplugged album is one of my favorite live albums of all time.

The new album's worth checking out, it's quite unsettling how the harmonies sound like old Jerry/Layne on some songs yet the new vocalist on his own sounds nothing like layne. Last of My Kind is my fave on it.

It's still not the same though

I have no problem with them continuing with a new vocalist - Fans can be the judge for themselves whether they like the new guy or not, that's just a personal taste issue, but why shouldn't they continue?

It sounds like Jerry's taken Layne's place on vocals with William in the background. Definitely sounds like old AIC.

That's a perfect description of it, absolutely,

having seen a couple of live tracks played on TV here in the UK, I'd say the new guy adds more in terms of a second guitar and how that fills the sound out than he does in terms of being a "frontman". Hell, he wasn't even AT the front of the line-up. Definitely Jerry's baby now, for better of for worse - and for now I'm leaning towards "better"
