Why is Shyne gonna be deported?

I read he is going to be deported back to his native Belize once he is released from jail, but he was born and raised here. WTF?

Shyne was born is Belize, not here. The reason that he is getting deported is because, of an expired green card and his failure to become a "Naturalized citizen"

He served, 9 years of a 10 year sentence. This is the second time that Diddy has gotten away scott free...the first being the City College incident years ago. People were trampled at a basketball game that he promoted, including my cousin. She broke her leg during the may-lay, but she is STILL angry after all these years.

she walks with a limb, but is okay. If I remember correctly, there was an over selling of the tickets even after radio stations said that the event had been sold out earlier that day. A crowd of people gathered hours leading up the event and people were trampled as the doors opened. It did not have to happen.

I didn't know he was deported, but usually anytime an alien, legal or not, commits a crime they are deported after they do their time. I knew a lady who was born in Panama but came here at the age of 1. She got caught up in stuff, went to jail, and got deported upon release. She didn't know anybody there or speak the language. I don't know what happened to her. Oh well, don't break the law and you'll be alright. shrug

Yeah i agree, but the thing is that TI got off light, that guy got a year and i bet he serves less than half because he will be a "model prisoner" in other words free cds and tickets for the guards in jail. The system is such bullshit, SHYNE was guilty and that should be the sentence, but they all should have served some time, Diddy had the big money and name and got off with nothing. In fact Jennifer Lopez could have been brought in on charges for fleeing the scene with him.

But for fleeing she could have done time, Antonio Pierce of the Giants got off on that one too, the incident with Plaxico Burress carrying a gun and shooting himself in the leg, and then lying about the illegal gun in a club, Pierce should have served something on that too.

I was THISCLOSE to going to that game! That was some foolishness fuckery right thurr.


I remember the day of the game, they had made an announcement, on the radio that tickets were sold out. Then, that night I head about the accident on the news and that they were still selling tickets. Puffy, should done time for that as well as Heavy D, who was the co-organizer. Damn shame!!

Shyne went to jail for the shooting incident where Diddy and JLo ran.

The city college thing was this New Edition basketball game/concert thing where someone dumbass yelled fire and a whole bunch of kids tried to run for the doors and the doors were locked or some nonsense and they trampled and stopmed some of the kids to death.

Okay, cuz I was thinking "Damn....I know NY goes hard for it's rappers, but Shyne?!" lol

Here in the Bay, nobody really goes crazy when our local rappers are around. When we see Mistah FAB at the car wash or somethin' or E-40 at the store, it's like "Oh yeah, there go 40.... yeah" lol
