Yeah me too, and what's so bad about it is the girl can REALLY sing! Monica is sooo under-rated these days. She can't seem to catch a break. It comes on tonight, so I am gonna watch it. I'm watching the show now and I like it so far. My problem with the show is when they were auditioning tracks/songs for her new album. No one was about being creative. It was about a "hit".Not to mention a lot of the trax sounded like the same ole' sh!t! **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

She was in the studio with Brian Michael Cox and he was saying how big this song was going to be and I just couldn't hear it. I watched the premier episode and there was nothing that really grabbed me but i'm willing to give it a chance and see all of what she's planning for her new CD. I will say I am somewhat dissappointed that she is sampling the entire musical track for Evelyn Champainge (sp) King's "Betcha She Don't Love You". I mean dayum...those entire song Mo?

Her little boys are absolutely darling. I dunno bout this fiance of hers...I know they got history and shit but do he got any money? She can't be raising the kids and payin' all the bills. She looks fab tho as always. I can't believe she had her manager/cousin un-contracted for 10 dang years!!! Whew WEE that's some TRUST!! I think the show was good. I think it's going to be more emotional than a lot of other reality shows. The sampling of "Betcha" doesn't bother me. A lot of people do that to keep the song alive. I don't have a problem with that part. I just have a problem when the writers are pretty uncreative. The sampling doesn't bother me. A lot of big hits have ripped the song completely. Back in like FEBRUARY, I caught an episode on cable, Peachtree, and it was the one where she sonned that Bryan Cox producer for giving her that hot garbage. In the end he came correct with that personal record "Still Standing".

I know....Raw...or Sideline H- should have been the first singles as well as A Dozen Roses for a third ending single...maybe even Doin Me Right but Everytime The Beat only sounded like she was trying to follow trends instead of setting them. The tune "No Stopping" also shold have been on the album, luckily it appeared on the leftover mixtape that came out later that month. Neither one of those kids look like Monica or Rocko. They are adorable but they look adopted! Those babies genes done reached waaayyyy back from one of their parents geneology lines or something.

Rocko is DL and Miss Monica is okay with it because she is desperate to get married! I feel sorry for a straight woman in the ATL looking for love these days. Monica was also a sideline ho, so she is singing from experience. I remember when she was pregnant. I remember seeing pics of her belly and everything. I thought her last album was pretty good. I don't know what it will take for her career to blow back up again. She starts off talking about how she was on top of the world, how she's in love with a guy and how hard it was for her ex-fiance to commit suicide in front of her. After they covered that, it was mostly her discussing the songs she has recorded so far for the new album and how she is looking for the real HIT. It was cool to see her manager discussing the album with the record company and how they only wanted 10 songs for the project. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Loved her during the first two albums. I lost interest with the third album though All Eyes on Me was a nice song. I thought she was too much like Ashanti and the shit hop out there that time and could have done better. |
