The Dream-like him or not?

What do you think of The Dream as a songwriter/producer? Good or overrated?

I don't like a lot of his songs, but the few I do like are Greatest Ex, Umbrella, Falsetto and Touch My Body. Those are gems. I only like about 2 songs on Mariah's latest and those are Obsessed and Angels Cry.

Don't listen to him. But he iight. He's not as annoying as some as the other guys.

Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

i like most of dream & tricky's work. but i wish some of dream's songs were done by other atrists as i find his vocals annoying at times.

Honestly he gets too much cred for what he does and not enough shit for what he does. Case in point, the new tracks for Christina Milian are god AWFUL! these are recent ones, not the ballad that she did "us against the world" but these brand new tracks leaked on the net like "Stalker" and a few others, i mean he seems tapped out of ideas, people need to stop working with who they are sleeping with first and foremost, didnt anyone learn from John Lennon letting Yoko on records and letting her help out by wailing in the background on his tracks. He has a decent track on the Amerie record, but his version might not make the cut, i'll know thursday nite when i get that cd. But he's nothing special, its not like hes a damn musician or something.

Overrated. He's alright. He has a name that makes people think he's better than he is.

That is great marketing though.

Superstition ain't the way...

I don't care for him. Some of his songs are ok, but his production is a bit too plastic for my taste.

I like Falscetto, Umbrella was good for a pop song but I thought he would deliver better solo stuff ...

I think I Love your Girl was nicely produced too, I just don't like the rap, it distracts from the music

I rank him as one of the three or four best centers of all time. The basketball he played in 1993-94 was the best basketball I ever saw anyone play.

I love The-Dream's work. I'm not really a big fan of his second album, but I love his first album and I love the songs he writes for others. Some of his best work in on Electrik Red's album.

Yepp. I think he writes better for females. I love hearing his demos. I'd love to hear his demo for "Single Ladies"
