25-10 U2 Live on Youtube

U2 have confirmed via video blog that their sold-out concert at the Pasadena Rose Bowl in California, this Sunday, 25th October, will be streamed free, in full and live on YouTube. It's the first time a show of this size will be streamed live.

YouTube will be streaming live across five continents. The show will be available in the usual You Tube way, as video-on-demand, following two full replays - after the live stream - on both U2.com and You Tube.

Just logged on. Looks awesome!

One of my buddies that's an astronaut took Bono, the Edge and the Edge's two sons on a tour of Johnson Space Center last week. Then when U2 played at Reliant Stadium the next night, Bono gave my buddy not one but TWO namechecks during the concert. How cool is that?

"Guitar" on Leno is the greatest performance in the history of rock ' roll

its a big show, Bon Jovi is going to do this next year also, a-Ha did it back in 2001 and again in 2007 one in Oslo and one in Germany, those were streamed, but not on YouTube. U2 is getting MADCASH for this.

a-ha "foot of the mountain TOUR 2009"
a-ha "Ending on a High Note Final TOUR 2010" going everywhere!

I'm using Firefox and it's brilliant.

I'm not a HUGE U2 fan, but I do like some of their stuff. But this is fantastic.

Although I think U2 is rather boring sometimes on record, when they're live, they're fucking rock stars to the Nth!

Call me crazy, but I still get misty when I hear "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". It's one of the quintessential rock songs. Right up there with "I Want To Know What Love Is", and "Purple Rain".
