I LOVE this song, always have. Such good memories when this was out. Music across the board was soooo good back then. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

Ain't that da truth. Be very careful how you treat people: You know where you've been but you don't where you're going.

I'm glad to have been born in the late 70's, but I wish I was born 10 years earlier. I grew up in the 80's so that's second best. lol GOD IS GOOD...ALL THE TIME.

The Cover Girls' version:
Tupac "Makaveli" Shakur (RIP 1971-1996) & Michael Jackson (RIP 1958-2009)
2 men that had their lives taken away the moment they were speaking out AND rebelling against the dark side of the music industry once too often.

Everybody and their mama has a rendition of this song!!! I like how Beyonce sings it. The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Should ONLY be accessed in the privacy of your mind. Words are so intense so if you dare to listen.Take off your clothes and meet me between the lines.

My favorite Rose Royce track is this one... Brings back memories of that famous scene from "Car Wash"!!
"Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Does anyone remember a cover version of this song from the early 80s? It's from 1980-82....it came out sometime during those years.I think it was a jazz artist with a guest female vocalist on it? There was alot of saxophone in it,especially near the end.I remember hearing this version and thinking that it was as good as the Rose Royce version.

Yeah, the Beyonce version is weak. She should stay away from classic songs like this.....songs that require some emotional depth.
