I do know & love "angel".. but I'm not familiar with the other tracks on that album.. & I will never understand how the Ohio Players just "disappeared" off the music scene (essentially) after "contradiction"..

They continued to release albums until the early 80s,but with very little success.After 'Contradiction',their sound/style was considered passe.In the disco era,this was a problem that affected many funk bands.That's why many of these bands (Earth Wind and Fire,The Commodores,Kool and The Gang,etc) changed their sound during this period. | |
