Theres been some cool stuff of late and some right around the corner

a-Ha "Foot of the Mountain" (album of the year for me with ease)

Stefani Vara - StoryBook Diaries (digital release only) excellent old school feel, soft vocals, perfect record straight through

John Mellencamp - Live Love and Freedom (a live cd to accompany his current tour)

David Gray - Draw the Line (ltd edition version) came out today but had it for 2 weeks, excellent record from one of the most underrated artists this decade

Dennis DeYoung - one hundred years from now (low key release from the former Styx leader-founder)

and right around the corner, Katharine McPhee,Hall and Oates (box), Bon Jovi, MYA, Amerie, Norah Jones and more.....

I'm picking up Mika'a new album tomorrow.

I also picked up Pearl Jam's single, "The Fixer", on 7" white vinyl at Target. Not because I like Pearl Jam, but because HELLO.....VINYL.

How can i forget the new Pearl Jam, excellent! and i have to say the 22 leaked tracks from Cassie's "ElectroLove" are mostly all very good, she found her niche, elctronic music.

Really like this album! It's melancholy, but not depressing and maintains momentum. Their voices blend together so well.. reminds me of well-read shy girls secretly meeting and making music. lol

I recommend "Another Likely Story", "All or Nothing", "Knight of Wands", "Only You Can Make You Happy", "Take Me As I Am" and "Anywhere You Looked".
