say what you want to about the 80's but there was quite a bit of musical diversity that was played on mainstream radio. I remember hearing this song a lot on the radio back in the laste 80's....

I never liked this song at the time, but listening to it now, it's quite good.

I'm not too keen on his faux-Jamaican vocal inflection though. It's a pet peeve of mine. I detest Sting - and he affects a Jamaican accent on every bloody song he's ever recorded.

It's one of the best songs on an uneven album.

This is one of those "epic" songs that stand in a class like "3 Chains" or "Bohemian Rhapsody". Go listen to "Don't Stop" from the same album, Dancing On The Ceiling. It's up there too.

I always loved this song, and I bought the extended mix on iTunes years ago. You can get both versions on the deluxe edition of the album. This album really was the height of his creativity.

I cant stop playing this song(SELAH)..does anyone know what it did on the pop/r&b charts...I remember hearing it a lot on the pop stations in the 80's so I know it made at least top 20..
