i love the first two releases. haven't listened to Takk a whole lot and haven't heard the latest disc at all. i saw them live about 6 years ago when they toured with the album leaf and mogwai, and that was an awesome show. | |

It's good. The first two are better. But there are just too many moments in their albums where I want to fast-forward  C:\Otaassk~.exe The new best Prince M&M thread ever: http://prince.org/msg/7/323876 vivid is my new boo!

The most recent album is very good, without being amazing. 'Takk', however, is a masterpiece. I'd always put 'Ágætis Byrjun' on a bit of a pedestal and was reluctant at first to acknowledge that 'Takk' was that good. But now I can't split them. Their first 'Von' I find interesting but just too inaccessible. I've tried a number of times, but it's just not happening. [Edited 9/7/09 18:40pm] | |
