She's some actress who's acting in some indian movie.

Mike took a photo with her in late 2008 when they were shooting for the film in LA. The movie is called Kites.

[Edited 8/13/09 16:56pm]

She probally just some girl from Los Angeles, CA. who became a huge MJ fan after watching Living with Michael Jackson. I guess she wants to be a make-up artist. I bet you crack up all night with her if you where in the car with her in westwood and you go really lost cause you thought you saw Michael Jackson and you drove all over the place and it just ended up being some old women. But i dont know i'm just guessing

re-read my previous post rolleyes

In general all people who take drugs are victims except the dealers, once they take it they can't get rid of it,thats why its called addiction , I believe Mj was a victim but I also believe MJ takes part of the blame...get it now?
[Edited 8/13/09 16:05pm]

Nothing you say is going to change ehffnsd mind about Michael.

Michael may have been an addict, we know not the reasons, there are many unleft answers.. We will never know.

But, the people who enabled Michael were just as responsible as he. WTF is wrong with people and greed, and celebrity.

I would have hussled his skinny ass right to re-hab. Michael or not.

Did anybody hear Londell McMillan talking to Roland Martin on the TJMS this morning? He was primarily talking about Katherine Jackson and the estate, etc.

Then at the end of the discussion, Tom Joyner asked Londell point blank why hasn't Prince made a statement about MJ's death.

While Londell couldn't answer Tom, J. Anthony Brown (a co-host) replied by saying the reason why Prince has not regarded MJ's tragedy is because "his hips hurt." disbelief Brown always has to throw in some stupid comic relief comment. lol

Gary, Ind. paid airfare for Jackson's father

(AP) – 2 hours ago

GARY, Ind. — The mayor of Gary, Ind., said Friday his cash-strapped city paid $5,000 to fly Michael Jackson's father and seven other people out from Los Angeles to attend a July memorial for his son in the pop star's hometown.

Mayor Rudy Clay insisted that Joe Jackson wasn't paid any money to attend the July 10 memorial in downtown Gary, a few miles from the Jackson family's former two-bedroom boyhood home.

"Joe Jackson came in here for one reason: for his son, and he wanted to be with his 31 other family members who live in Gary," he said. "There was no fee for Joe Jackson to appear. Absolutely not."

A call seeking comment was left Friday with a spokesman for the Jackson family.

While city money helped pay to fly Jackson, the musical group the Chi-Lites and security from Los Angeles to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Clay said donations already made or promised to the city will cover all of the memorial's expenses.

He said Gary is currently about $2,000 short of breaking even on the memorial's costs, though he could not provide the total cost for the tribute held at a minor league baseball park.

Clay said Joe Jackson never asked for help to pay for the trip to the city he moved his family away from in 1969 after the Jackson 5 recorded their first album.

Instead, Clay said he offered to pay airfare for Jackson as well as the Chi-Lites so that the group, whose lead singer Marshall Thompson is launching a new record label with Jackson, could accompany the Jackson family patriarch.

"The Chi-Lites were out there in California mourning with the family and I thought it was good for them to appear here but also to kind of comfort Joe for being here. And they did that," he said.

Gary's Jackson's memorial at The Steel Yard baseball park drew more than 6,000 people to the city 30 miles southeast of Chicago and featured performers singing and dancing to Jackson's hits. Joe Jackson appeared on stage with Clay and others.

Clay said Jackson and the seven others visited Gary for one day, the day of the memorial, and then stayed that night at hotels in Illinois. The city's $5,000 did not fully cover the airfare, he said, and no city money went toward paying the hotel costs or any other expenses.

Clay said he did not know the details of whether the city directly paid the airlines or whether the money was given to Jackson to cover those costs. Messages seeking comment on the details of that payment were left Friday with City Controller Celita Green.

News of the city's air travel expense angered the leader of one Gary neighborhood group, who said it came not long after the city halted trash collection for 11 days until the city council approved a fee hike.

Kevin Carr, president of the Glen Ryan Neighbors Organization, called the city's $5,000 payment a "travesty" in the face of Gary's financial woes. He criticized both Clay for offering to pay and Jackson for accepting.

"We're talking about a mayor who said we cannot afford to pick up trash, yet we can afford to pay for someone who has plenty of money to come out," Carr said. "It's ludicrous."

But Doug Grimes, the president of the Miller Citizens Corporation in one of Gary's best-known neighborhoods, said he expected that few Gary residents would criticize the city's "peripheral" memorial expense for airfare despite the city's financial woes. He said residents are proud of Michael Jackson and glad the city celebrated his life.

"I think people understand our financial condition, and they would be reluctant to say that the city did not perform properly when it recognized his accomplishments and the fact that this is his hometown," Grimes said.

Doc's Defense: Demonizing Michael Jackson?

For Dr. Conrad Murray, the best defense may be a no-holds-barred smear campaign against Michael Jackson.

Celebrity defender extraordinaire Mark Geragos, who successfully repped Jackson during his 2004 child-molestation trial, spoke to E! News yesterday, explaining why he rejected an overture to defend Murray, why he thinks the doctor may wind up charged with murder, and what exactly he believes the embattled medico will use as a defense strategy.

Which, in a word, would be Jackson himself. (And all the controversies, mysteries, trials and, per Geragos, general "weirdness" that will forever be part and parcel with the King of Pop.)

"Ultimately, that may be...what the defense is, to say things about Michael I'm just not going to say," Geragos said. "Whatever is required by somebody who is going to defend the doctor, is not something I can do ethically."

Or personally.

"I've been approached," he said in reference to the possibility that he would join Murray's defense team. "But clearly I have a conflict of interest.

"I represented Michael and I would not want to be in a position where I was deprecating Michael in any way, shape or form."

Part of that defensive deprecation may come in the form of rehashing Jackson's drug addictions and his alleged doctor shopping-some reports claim the star sought prescriptions under 19 different aliases-which investigators are currently sussing out.

A source told E! News that three prescription medications, including Xanax, were found in Jackson's system at his time of death, and Geragos said that he suspects detectives' efforts at tracking down the source of the drugs is the reason for the indefinitely delayed toxicology tests.

When the results do finally come in, expect the pointer fingers-and the legal action-to fly.

"I can imagine 10 different lawsuits coming out of this," Geragos said, adding that someone will likely need to be "blamed" for the death and that a wrongful death lawsuit would not be unexpected.

"Whether it's against doctors, whether it's the Jacksons against AEG, or AEG against the estate...Anytime you've got the kind of money that's at stake here, there will be lawyers, and where there's lawyers, there's lawsuits."

And where there's Murray, there's likely a criminal charge...though not, Geragos suspects, involuntary manslaughter, which is what he is currently under investigation for. Instead, Geragos believes attorneys may have the upper hand if they try to nail him for murder.

"It's one of the most bizarre things," he said. "It's literally easier if you look at jury instructions, to get a jury to convict on second-degree (murder) than involuntary manslaughter."

Yet he takes time with this guy. What a jewel we've lost. And I think the world is realizing it. Boy I miss Mike. Thanks for posting. Gosh I miss Mike so much. Why did MIKE have to leave. again, i don't understand why dr. murray thinks demonizing mj is going to work.

let's say mj was an addict, as most believe.

as a doctor, you have a duty to your patient. mj was clearly losing weight, deteriorating right in front of everyone's eyes. if kai the chef noticed, then murray did, too. if he didn't know mj was using drugs initially, or discovered the 'unusual problems' when he got to l.a., then as a doctor he had an ethical obligation to find out the straight dope, as it were.

otherwise, murray is practically admitting that he was just there to give mj a highly dangerous drug, and never bothered with much else.

which is worse? admitting you just came at night to hook mj up to his i.v. and pick up your check knowing about the unusual problems and not really giving a shit as long as you were getting paid, or admitting that you didn't do the basic 'due diligence' on your patient? hell, when i got a new dentist last year i had a page worth of questions to answer and all i wanted was an effing filling. this 'i didn't know' defense isn't going to work, because whether or not mj was an addict could have been easily found out on murray's part.

but then again, we have a man who admits that he left the room when his patient is supposed to be continously monitored.

WOW, Michael is so sweet. Just a dear, sweet, guy. Taking time to thank this fan like that. And this was either before or after court. You know he must have been tired, anxious. Yet he takes time with this guy. What a jewel we've lost. And I think the world is realizing it. Boy I miss Mike. Thanks for posting. Gosh I miss Mike so much. Why did MIKE have to leave. It still seems so unreal.

I believe he was on his way to court from Neverland seeing that he told the guy "I'll hang it up at Neverland" while pointing behind him [Michael]. yeah you can see theyw ere rushing but to see Michael take time out to talk is just amazing. He's truly missed!

While Londell couldn't answer Tom, J. Anthony Brown (a co-host) replied by saying the reason why Prince has not regarded MJ's tragedy is because "his hips hurt." disbelief Brown always has to throw in some stupid comic relief comment. lol

LOL .. That just made me think of the intro to Janets song 'Rope Burn"
