Groovy love those songs, he was one of the first white artists on that show, both songs were big R and B hits
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

nod Yeah,I believe he was the first white artist to appear on this show.A year later,David Bowie appeared on Soul Train.

I think Gino Vannelli was also quite early a guest at the train. There used to be a ST-appearance from around 1975 on youtube.

Yeah,I have footage of him appearing on a 1974 episode,singing "People Gotta Move".

Yeah,I remember that 1979 epidode with Gloria Gaynor and Gino Vannelli.That's actually one of my favorite episodes.Gino performs "I Just Wanna Stop" and "The Wheels Of Life".Gloria performs "I Will Survive" and the superior "Anybody Wanna Party",which I love.

Come on Time-Life....let's get those Soul Train DVDs on the market NOW!! lol

nod That whole album is excellent! A perfect blend of strong uptempo tracks ("Appaloosa","The River Must Flow") and smooth slow jams ("I Just Wanna Stop","Feel Like Flying","Wheels Of Life").There's only one weak track on the album,the boring rocker "Evil Eye".
