Incubus cover Lets Go Crazy on their new release that is a two CD set that includes a best of CD and new music including the last song being the cover. They do a very good job on this cover and apparently have been playing it live for a while now. The lead singer Brandon Boyd says this song gave him a huge boner when he was 12  I liked it. I've never been a big fan, but I thought they did a solid job with this. * * * *

I've always felt Incubus does things their way.. and i certainly thought there would be more of their sound in the cover.. i thought it was a half baked idea.

I thought they could have done a better job of really making it their own. It is cool,though and the guitar playing is as close to prince's as u can get!mike really does a great job. Incubus is an awesome band! I also love how they have unreleased songs on the cd(that are great) then,u can d/l more on their site!!great band!! "I'm a pig..so,magic elixir I swill" | |

I'll agree with you on this one especially where the guitar playing is concerned. Before listening, I thought I would have been disappointed, but instead, I was pleasantly surprised. may u live 2 see the dawn | |

I'll agree with you on this one especially where the guitar playing is concerned. Before listening, I thought I would have been disappointed, but instead, I was pleasantly surprised. Totally agree...they defintely could have done a better job making it their own but the fact they cover it so closely is pretty cool too! Also the fact that they are offering access to their 'vault' is very nice and also a bit of a nod to Prince too! [Edited 7/1/09 14:57pm] | |
