I like his first CD Off the Wall the most.

Don't stop 'till you get enough, Rock with you, Off the Wall, She is out of my life, Burn this disco out.

All great songs, that bring back great memories.

He was still relatively 'normal' in those days and I remember one day, somewhere in the early nineties, wishing he would have stayed that way, but knowing after Thriller and the insane fame that came with that he was lost forever.

Such a shame it had to end this way. I hope his death is not in vain

I loved 'Off The Wall'... brilliant album, 'Rock With You' is classic And yes, he was very handsome then...I preferred it to 'Thriller' any day, and I also really loved the 'Bad' album..'The Way You Make Me Feel', 'I Just Can't Stop Loving You', 'Liberian Girl', 'Man in the Mirror' etc etc. and I did like some of his later stuff too... 'Ben' reminds me of my childhood ... It's very sad that he's gone, and it's been said a million times, but it's so true that he's the soundtrack to so many of our lives. I did a dance number to 'Black and White' once which was one of the hardest numbers I ever had to master, I couldn't do all that Michael Jackson stuff very well, so the choreography was a nightmare for me! I love the song 'You Are Not Alone' too... I was never a big MJ fan, I was always a Prince girl, but still loved a lot of the music, of course. I am thinking of his children who will be devatasted. RIP Michael






Oh yeah, and this is one of the best stomping, strutting songs EVER....

We should all love and respect one another more. We are all spiritual beings having human experience and we're all in this world together. Michael Jackson (RIP) will truly be missed and never forgotten.

As a child i was huge MJ fan. I remember the first single i ever was given as a child was Billie Jean. I can still remember the sleeve for the record of Michael leaning on a wall with a white shirt and a yellow v neck cardigan. We have lost one of the few genuine musical legends. And despite all the contraversy, rumor and speculation that was thrown at him in the last few years of his life. Michael will always be remembered for the music that helped shape a decade and our lives, and for the great showman that he was. Long live the memory of the musical legend that was Michael Jackson.

If Im honest, while MJs music makes me nostalgic, I didnt really love most of it or listen to it much. Somehow, little of his solo stuff stood up to time for me apart from Off the Wall. Now J5? I can bump some of that to this day, particularly Got to Be There and The Love You Save. In any case, MJ was a talent.

I am still in shock. Michael had such a profound effect on the music industry as he really was known worldwide for his great God-given talent.

I will never forget watching the awards show where he reunited with his brothers to perform as well as perform by himself. I think I was 12. It was there that he unveiled the infamous moonwalk. I can remember sitting with my family watching this, and that moment was priceless. My dad actually stood up and applauded while the rest of us were glued to the screen. The next day at school I would find that this just wasn't our own little family experience. Michael was the talk of school the very next day as it seemed everybody I knew - regardless of their race - had watched this televised show. We were all in awe, and for a very long time Michael was all anyone ever wanted to talk about as well as imitate those dance moves. Before long, we were in Michaelmania - wearing those red and black V jackets, penny loafers, highwater pants to show off white socks, and the one glove look. And oh ... let's not forget that hairstyle. It didn't matter what race a person was. Everyone was trying to get that S curl look. Unforgettable ... just unforgettable even now.

I will truly miss you, Michael.

I'm not a huge MJ fan but I do have most of his music from 1979-2001. I was a relatively late convert when I bought History , mostly for the hits, circa 1997 at the age of 17. I think the new music on History may be the most accurate portrait of who he really was. I certainly think that was the first and possibly only time that you got a bit of a peak behind the curtain at him. I'm not saying this as an insult but his previous albums were so commercial and I think he was trying to make them as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. History wasn't like that and for that reason it remains my favourite album of his.

....june 25th can be remembered as the day back in 1977 when prince signed with W.B....but now it is also the day M.J. passed away..

ABC, I'll Be There, Who's Lovin You...everything. Off the Wall(Rock with you, Don't Stop Til You Get Enough) and Thriller (PYT). I could just list all the songs on those LP's. I played Dangerous quite a bit too in the 90's.

I just bought a DVD a few weeks ago - Michael Jackson's Number Ones. I was gonna learn some dance moves...

I don't believe I still don't own the "Off the Wall" album. I like everything I've heard on it, especially the title track which might be my favorite MJ song. Close second is "In the Closet". Great chorus. All time if you include the Jacksons is "Can You Feel It". Again, I don't even have an album with that song. Michael is definately being appreciated for his music right now.
