Several of the BarKays songs are similiar to other songs... "Freakshow On The Dancefloor" sounds like a slightly faster version of Midnight Star's "No Parking On The Dancefloor". "Dirty Dancer" borrows its synth riff from Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". "Freaky Behavior" sounds like a "cousin" of Rick James' "Super Freak". They have another song (can't remember the title,but it's from the 70s) that resembles EW&F's "Shining Star". I don't see them as ripping off other artists,though.They just sorta "borrow" ideas and mix it into their own sound (like many other artists do). | |
