Supremes re-releases

I hear motown will release 2 sets of albums by the supremes later this year.
Classic albums vol. 1 & 2 will each consist of 3 albums.
I hope "The supremes sing and perform funny girl", "We remeber Sam Cooke" and
"At the Copa" gets a re-release... pray

I don't think The Supremes sell well in my area. In the record stores, you always see tons of their albums on cd. Same thing for Diana's solo projects.

I really hate the fact that there are so many
orginal albums from Motown artists that does'nt get released.
Motown just keep putting out compilation after compilation with the
same old greatest hits stuff.

I have that boxed set and it is excellent. If you are not a "big" fan (like me), but appreciate their work, this boxed set is all you need.

If you are a true fan and LOVE everything they did, I suggest buying the reissues. Motown has done some excellent work remastering their back catalogs and issuing outtakes.

Bingo.... you would have thought these dummies would have enough sense to release Switch/DeBarge/El(solo) since they've garnered media spotlight of late. But Nooooo!

Be very careful how you treat people: You know where you've been but you don't where you're going.

SoulAlive

speaking of the Supremes,I just picked up an excellent compilation by them:

Where Did Our Love Go
Baby Love
Come See About Me
Stop! In The Name Of Love
Back In My Arms Again
Nothing But Heartaches
I Hear A Symphony
My World Is Empty Without You
Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart
You Can't Hurry Love
You Keep Me Hangin On
Love Is Here And Now You're Gone
The Happening
Reflections
Love Child
I'm Livin' In Shame
I'm Gonna Make You Love Me (with the Temptations)
Someday We'll Be Together

Looks like all the hits are accounted for and I like the fact that it includes my favorite Supremes song "Love Is Here And Now You're Gone",which I don't believe was one of their biggest hits.

My only complaint: It doesn't include the song "Everything's Good About You",another song that wasn't one of their biggest hits but I love it.I was gonna get the boxed set that y'all are talking about (above) but I think I'm satisfied with this compilation, for now.
