El and his current wife, Monique, who is as ghetto as a mug, are seperated.
Don't know about Bobby's widow.
El's 2nd wife, Tracy, remarried to someone VERY high up in Texas state government. From what I have heard insinuated, Tracy went to some lengths to make sure El has NO contact with those kids, a little boy and girl. Their divorce was very drawn out and bitter and along with Bobby's death, I think it pretty much took a piece out of El's hide.

El's first wife was a Soul Train dancer that he married for about 3 months when she got pregnant with el jr. They married around when James married Janet. They also divorced about a month or so after. Speculation was that he married her to either give the kid a name or to shut her up re trying to cause a scandal.

Up until a month ago I'd never heard this track. I don't think most people are aware of it. not sure what year it was recorded or what the whole song sounds like but take a listen.

I think and I am not sure, but Terri, Bobby's wife was extremely young when she married Bobby. There was a big age difference between them

I think someone on this thread talked about the recordings Bobby made for Motown re a solo album. Apparently, he lost interest in the material and they disappeared from the Motown vaults, never to be seen again.

I'm glad to see another family member willing to satisfy the public's unending taste for Debarge dirt.

After the Vibe article, the books and the tv specials, I don't know what more could be unearthed.

But I won't lie, I'll be checking for excerpts once his book is published.

Oh there is a lot of dirt. You can tell that Bunny, James and Randy and Bobby's wife and El's wife were sidestepping some landmines.

El and Chico have said that the vibe article was unnecessarily negative, but they have made peace with it and they understand why the angle of the story was taken-people love dirt.

Something else interesting-El's second wife and his current "wife" (they may not legally be married-Monique may just be called El's wife in name only) could be sisters or at the least cousins. They look that much alike.

I found out that when El was in jail last year, in '07, he was also in the celeb section.

Joe BEAT his kids. Etterlene just closed her eyes and prayed. She didn't take any action to really right any situation other than prayer. She trusted God would make it all ok.

No one in the debarge fam talks about James and Janet cause rumor is that there were contracts signed and James was paid off.

LAWD with these Debarges...every post it's some more DRAMA.....keep me posted..
