Fleetwood Mac - Tusk

I have been listening to this album a lot lately and I think I need to make a declaration. Its not only my favorite Fleetwood Mac album, but I think its made into my top 10 albums of all time.

I love everything about it. I love the songs of course, but I also love that it starts with a ballad, I love the the next song is so weird, then a pure pop song follows. I love that its so long. I love Storms, Thats All For Everyone, Brown Eyes, Honey Hi, TUSK, and Sisters of the Moon. I love that its totally grown on me over the years. I got into Fleewood Mac after Tango in the Night back in the 80s, and when I first got this, I was like, HUH? But much like Lovesexy or The Black Album, I kept pulling it out over the years for a listen, and when I did I would listen to the whole thing...and now its THE definitive Fleetwood Mac album for me (maybe cause its the one that hasn't been played to death on classic rock radio).

Such a great album, that I need to shout out about it. Whatcha y'all think?

My second favorite Fleetwood Mac album after Rumours.

It is their best piece of work and one of the most incredible albums ever made. Sara, Angel, Brown Eyes, Honey Hi, Beautiful child.....stunning. Everyone in this band was so accomplished at so much.
