Awesome!

Maggot Brain is such a superb album. I've recently been trying to convert a friend of mine to some old Funk as he's a really big Hip Hop fan.Regardless he doesn't really like it????

Now it's time for a Betty Davis alternate mix
cool

actually, according to george, he stated that he had "acid babies" that day and stripped down the recording to what it's famously known for..

so to some degree, this is the original version..

but, i agree i like this one better biggrin

I don't believe I ever heard this before, and yet it sounds like the original - but with an alternate mix (I guess that's why it's called "Alternate Mix", lol). But I can't believe I don't have this already. What CD can it be found on? I've gotta have it (...if I don't have it already and just somehow overlooked it).

I love Maggot Brain. Considering Eddie, and the entire history of P-Funk, I always get a tear in my eye when I hear them play it live ( ...and yes, I still hold my bic up high, even though the kids today hold up their cell phones, lol). Michael Hampton does it justice these days.

Wow, look at that! I would have never caught that, looks like they slipped that one past me in 2005. That's great information man, thanks!
