Yup, he was Pete's brother, Sheila E.'s uncle--

he was originally with Santana , and later formed a band called Azteca--He also toured with Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock...

I've been wanting to get that Azteca album! lol I've heard so much about it and I think I will like it alot.Pete Escovedo was a part of that band.

Apparently, they had at least two albums,

Azteca (1972)
Pyramid Of The Moon (1973)

I've only got their debut.
